Wendy’s has a new twist on a menu staple. The Giant Junior Bacon Cheeseburger is essentially the same classic burger times two. The Giant JBC features two beef patties, two slices of American cheese, two layers of thick-cut Applewood Smoked bacon, along with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The sandwich is available as part of a $5 deal along with fries, four piece nuggets, and a drink.
For a limited time, Arby’s is offering Bourbon BBQ versions of some of their sandwiches. The sandwich is available with turkey, brisket, streak, or all three meats together in a holy trinity of protein. The sandwich is dressed with brown sugar bacon, Kentucky bourbon BBQ sauce, crispy onions, and smoked cheddar cheese on a star cut bun.

Although this item is not new, (here is a commercial featuring Darius Rucker singing about the sandwich from 2004) Burger King has been running a considerable number of advertisements for it so I decided to review the revamped version.
Today after lunch I decided to stop by my local Sonic to try one of their new Custard Concretes. These new deserts combine a smooth custard with some type of candy topping. Sonic has six different standard offerings, and I chose the Banana Custard Concrete with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
McDonald’s has three new Signature Crafted Recipes sandwich options on their menu: Pico Guacamole, Sweet BBQ Bacon, and Maple Bacon Dijon.
Each option allows the consumer to pick their choice of protein: quarter pound beef patty, grilled chicken, or buttermilk crispy chicken. Consumers can also chose between a sesame seed or artisan bun.
The individual sandwich costs around $5.00 depending on your local McDonald’s.
We have reviews for all three sandwich options here:
