Arby’s Fried Mac ‘N Cheese Bites Review

Mac ‘n cheese bites are an item which I am always excited to try, but usually am left disappointed with after eating. They are usually bland and overpowered by the fried batter, which is most likely due to the mild cheese combined with the fact that unlike mozzarella sticks, the interior is shared with a large amount of pasta instead of being pure cheese.

Arby’s Mac ‘N Cheese Bites cost $3.79 at my local Arby’s and are also a part of the 2/$7 menu. When I ordered the bites, I was told that they are made-to-order, which is a nice touch as they were piping hot when I received them. While I have never had mac ‘n cheese bites from a fast food joint, I have tried mozzarella sticks that disappoint because the cheese inside has lost its meltiness. This was not a problem with these mac ‘n cheese bites as the cheese inside was very melty and gooey.

Only four bites came in an order

When it comes to taste, I believe these are the best fried-cheese fast food product I have ever had. They were nothing short of delicious and could easily masquerade as an appetizer at a sit-down restaurant. The only issue is the exorbitant price at $3.79 for an order of four. This is a huge price for a small amount of food that makes it difficult to want to order these again outside of circumstances where I want to treat myself. I got these during Arby’s Happy Hour, and it is hard to fathom how one of these Mac ‘N Cheese Bites can cost almost the same as an entire slider.

7/10Big on flavor and price
