Chick-fil-A Frosted Soda Review

Chick-fil-A recently released Frosted Sodas and Floats as an addition to their drink menu. These drinks combine your favorite soda and Chick-fil-A’s Icedream dessert. I went to my local Chick-fil-A to try a Frosted Soda.

Going into my trip I was looking forward to trying a Coke Frosted Soda. I enjoy getting a Coke (preferably with no ice) with my meal and I am also a fan of vanilla soft serve. The Frosted Soda was an additional $2.00 beyond the standard meal drink.

The Frosted Soda mixes the Icedream, Chick-fil-A’s version of soft serve ice cream, with the soda of choice. The Float contains your choice of soda and Icedream, just not mixed together. I don’t think there would be a significant taste difference between the Frosted Soda and Float, but I went with the Frosted Soda because I thought it would be easier to consume.

Overall the Frosted Soda met my expectations, but it didn’t wow me. It tasted like Coke and vanilla soft serve mixed together. I think that ultimately I prefer these items separate, and would rather have the standard Coke with my meal instead of a Frosted Soda.
